I need your help ladies and Gentlemen,
need a price check on a 70 headed engine, decent running and a 4 speed transmission?

my experience is the only interest for these are for people who just need to keep a car on the road for as little money as possible. anybody that wants to replace the drivetrain will but a 3.5L and a 5 speed. so in my opinion, not a lot ... slightly more than somebody wanting a boat mooring anchor.

your only hope for significantly more if it became a matching number for somebody with that VIN restoring the car to true concours condition (extremely rare possibility ... just throwing it out there)
 
here in Europe it's common one asks 500 euro for a running engine like that . 300 for a good 4 gearbox ?
Don't know for what they sell....
 
It's hard to set a price on something with that little knowledge about it, but generally speaking anything between $300 - $800 could seem reasonable, maybe?
I bought a M30B28 without transmission for 150€ a year ago.
