Many of you may know about this light product but I wanted to make sure everyone on the E9 Board did. I got tired of trying to get light to where it was needed doing projects. Did some searches and found an inexpensive very bright light that has 5 mode, 230 degree coverage, rechargeable, an on off motion sensor and 350 lumens. I found it on Amazon and the package I bought was 3 head lamps for $26 delivered. I'm using it for both doing mechanical work and detailing. The light is always there when you're fixing something and it's so light you forget you have it on.
For detailing it's like having a light booth to show up all the water spots, dried polish and imperfections on our Coupes. This last benefit I just discovered after cleaning the outside of Sixto and noticing the water spots on the chrome.
Be careful there are some vendors that are trying to sell one offs for the same product at $41 each.
I hope this is helpful.
Regards, Jon

hey Jon, nice looking light and there are a bunch of different ones on Amazon - you might want to list who made it

Scott,
The ones that say Lumenlight are the ones that charge $41 for the light. They are obviously a reseller and have the exact same box but with the Lumenlight brand on it. If you Google "head lamp" they will come up first but if you scroll down you will see an Amazon add with the exact same packaging but without the Lumenlight lettering. I'd much prefer to pay $26.50 for 3 or $8.83 each than $41 for 1. Additionally the Lumenlight website is awful and you feel frustrated using it. I think everything they have is strictly AI powered and very predatory.
Hope this helps to clarify.
Regards, Jon

Mike,
Those are the ones. These are even cheaper but the same as the ones I got. Can't imagine what the resellers pay for them. Haven't seen any downside except for the motion sensor on and off. If you are using that feature getting close to a surface like a hood turns off the light. I stopped using that feature in the engine bay.

Just got my three today....VERY bright. No seat time yet, but first impression is its a good buy.
I'll keep one in the nightstand, for when the power goes out. Thanks again, Ives.

Does anyone know what this part is for? Also in retrospect I probably would have paid more for just one. All 4 came in one box, which defeated my purchase of giving them as gifts

Mike,
Those are clips for your hard hat. Wish I'd been wearing one a couple of times under my lift, right Don?
