Pulsing brakes

Steve--Buying new front pads is not easy if you want a pad that will not get your wheels black in 10 minutes of driving. EBC green pads are the only ones I could find that are lower dust. But they do dust up enough to require thorough cleaning on a regular basis. Every time I have the car up on jack stands, I remove and clean the back of the wheels.
What have E9 owners used with those 20 spoke Alpina's?
I bought 2 sets of nla PBR metal masters a while back and run those. Very little dust unlike the bmw pads. They come up occasionally on eBay. I also wipe down the wheels briefly after I quick detail the car (with the same towel).

Steve--I recall years ago buying Repco Metal Masters for my 2002. Is PBR the new name? I also think I saw that 2002Tii front pads also fit the CS. Is that true?---Drew

Yes I believe Repco/PBR are (or were) one in the same. I have also read that Tii brake pads fit because they are the same caliper, but have not personally confirmed it.

Drew, I am sorry that you keep paying the price for the resto job done by alleged experts. Unclear how they maintain a good reputation when they cut corners they hope you will not see.

BTW did you buy new calipers or rebuild? Two different finishes in your pics.

Rob--The new bright silver calipers came from W&N. So did the braided steel brake lines.

I drove the car to a car show about 30 miles from my house on I-95 last Sunday. The brakes slowed the car down from high speeds and stopped in regular traffic with no issues.
David is rebuilding the ATE calipers and found rust and scoring on a few of the pistons that will need to be replaced. The pulsing I had was solely due to the right caliper not functioning. The Coupe is now set for the Saturday Cars and Caffeine at Amelia on March 4th. That will be about a 600-mile round trip on I-95.
