Just passing along the news and $savings$.

If you are in the market for aftermarket sway-bars and interested in the Suspension Techniques (ST) kit, be aware that there is currently a $75 rebate through the month of May.

From my research here on the forum, I believe the ST Kit P/N# 52015 is the one that can be adapted to fit the E9.

Happy Motoring....hope this saves some $$$ for a few folks.

Hi, can you advise on what modifications/adapting is required in order to install the ST sway bar kit?

Kind Regards
Chris

My 2800 came with a rear 18mn bar.

Simply kept the rear and put in a 23mm front bar out of an E12. The guys at Hardy and Beck who tweaked the E9s in the 70s/80s recommends this given the E9 body flex and the propensity to pull itself apart.

I've done their full suspension upgrade and it is a great ride. Takes a set and then is planted. Amazingly able to achieve grip and still be compliant to a fault. Drop a wheel into a hole...no drama.

This will never be a crazy canyon carver as it was never designed to be. But can e really quick given the platform. IMO don't overdo.
