Radiator sensor question

Does anyone know what these 2 apparent sensors are on this radiator? Picture isn't great but they each have two posts for wire leads and are near the bottom hose. I am hoping they are temp sensors to run an aftermarket temp coolant gauge as a backup to the stock one. I put a meter on them and read resistance in the megaohm range, and threw me off.

Pretty sure this is not a stock e9 radiator

This is an automatic radiator and in 74 received a sensor to activate the a/c fan in front of radiator so it is an on/off switch.

One in plain site to the right of the big hose and under the trans port, then another in the housing where that hose connects to Radiator on bottom. Kinda amidst the background light.
