Visited my friends the Wiley's and Willy gave me this. A rare unbuilt German E9 1/24 slot car kit. It reminded him of Athena and thought I should have it. :D

I've been dying for an E9 RC car. A slot car is pretty dang cool.

That would be cool. RC stuff now adays is super fun. I grew up with 049s, slot cars, balsam planes and dope, and a community slot track with bigger scale cars. But have some traxxas rc's.

Methinks technology today could scan and re-size that 1/32 car and bump it up to 1/10 or 1/12?

Here are some of my modern 1/32 scale slot cars. I have the Calder, Stella, Warhol and Ken Done Art Cars. The Gösser Beer CSL, and 2 2002s. The Koons Art Car is 1/24 scale.

bmw csl modells

Hi all E9 Lovers
may be not the right topic I'm writing in but I think Models are Models no matter the size!!
well after long searching found something some of you may fall in love as I did.
Found in France a company RCBODYSHOP.FR who has a 1/5 scale BMW CSL clear body . He has promissed me to advise when he will make next lot of bodies during this year.
I'm also waiting for Daves Motors to confirm if the 1/5 scale RC models they have , have the same Wheelbase and width needed to match the CSL body.

regards
