A buddy of mine had these on his 3.0 S quite a few decades ago . They were stored in his basement for quite some time .
They have been professionally cleaned and a few coats of High Temp clear was applied to show the details and prevent
any rust . The Stahl plate is still in place and the stampings on the flange are visible . I believe these to be the 1.375" size
of the primary tubes . I took a pic of my caliper dial for reference . Would really not like to ship these . Located near
Sacramento , California .

Can take more pics if needed .

great purchase Steve ... these look to be in great shape. might want to think about ceramic coating them to avoid some of the heat transfer into the cabin

Yeah would like to but there is no one local place to do this that I can find, and the added expense for shipping them to Jet-Hot et al is not worth the $$$ for a set of used headers (date code is March of 1989) so I will likely use the manifold grey POR-15 exhaust paint I put on my stock manifolds, they still look great after 2 years. I also need to source compression fittings and triangle flanges and figure out how to join them to the W&N center pipes. I am looking forward to having headers - like triple Webers, I've lusted after them on a coupe since the 80's

That POR 15 high heat manifold grey is great stuff. Just used some today. Lots of prep, as in any painting exercise, but made all the more challenging with all the "skull and crossbones" fear associated with using this product. However, many of us are mature enough to ensure adequate ventilation, eye protection, gloves and common sense. But I bet there are others who do not follow "regulations". ;) BTW, I also have a set of these '80s Stahl headers that I will eventually restore and install. But for now, I am doing a "practice run" with the original cast iron manifolds. Anxious to see yours all rejuvenated, Steve!

I found a place in Tampa that can ceramic coat them. So I will test fit them first, make adjustments if needed (BFH) then drop them off.

Curious if they will mate with my W&N front exhaust and what fittings are needed - the compression ring situation is concerning. Perhaps I need to start looking for an open-minded muffler shop.
