can somebody tell me which under rider is which? I don't have them on my coupe or I would go look - trying to determine which rubber piece I need to buy

If you are looking from the bottom, looking up, which one has the rubber tip furthest from the back edge of the bumper? My guess is that the longer tip would be on the outside since the rear valence tapers toward the front as it goes to the edges.

I would appreciate a little insight
Thx
Scott

Let me make the question simpler - can somebody put a camera under the fight rear under rider of their coupe and take a picture looking up

Thanks in advance

Is this what you need? Hmm it seems I have some crap stuck in the gasket!

Interesting Steve, not quite what I expected. I was correct on the shape that the chrome would be ... But the rubber part has me stumped. The rubber part comes in a left and right piece, and I would have thought the bottom edge would be parallel to the bottom of the chrome edge. Makes me want to see the bottom of your left underrider

My passenger side rear of the parts car. Very loose so it's not sitting straight. Looks like the little drain holes go on the outside. Mine could be wrong as it has been poorly painted at least once.

Also, is my parts car cleaner than Steves? :D

Yes it looks like they are backwards (and very well could be), but if I remember correctly, they didn't fit against the bumper rubber strip squarely if installed the other way. So I chose to go with what looked best from what is visible. The new pieces from BMW are pretty shtty. Maybe others can take pics or share their experience, perhaps OCCoupe.

Thanks Steve,

When I get my under riders (that I am buying) I will be able to figure out which piece of rubber I need

One comment for those of you installing these for the first time. These are designed to install tight against the painted portion of the car underneath the bumper, with the black surround keeping water out. The reason these parts are hard to find, however, is because these babies rust if water gets in there, which it can do at the top. Water then becomes trapped by the black surround. When I installed mine, I added a handful of washers to the bolt that holds these to the body, creating a 3mm opening between the black surround and the body to allow water to escape. This is not as tidy as the original install, but I hope it keeps the rust away.
