Rear Roundel

I had the same issue, I use 3M strip caulk to stick on my Roundels. Blob in the middle like the one you took off, then around both posts outside and inside if you can get to it. Water tight, reversible etc. Only downside is that it would be easier to remove if someone decided they wanted to filch the thing.

Yes please, can you get anymore of these?
I've been looking for these specifically to match the side ones with same Motorsport design.

Thanks,
David

Barry,
if you can ask your friend where we can get this style of the old motorsport badge, that will be great.
I custom fitted one to the boot, but I am in need of a matching one for the front.

I don't know where Barry got his, but Gutenparts sells custom roundels. They have the side targets also.

I did not get mine from Gutenparts. If you look at the rear roundel it is Flat like a e30 trunk emblem fitted on a e9 trunk with a duck spoiler.

I got mine from a local BMW shop. He and Gutenparts get them from the same supplier. When i first ordered mine it came with the flat rear like the one in Gutenparts pic. We send it back to the supplier and he send back the one in my pic... and that is way i posted the question about the stud mounting post.

So it comes back to the question of mounting the Roundel... two sided tape or a small nut. There is a small tip on the post. I'm headed out to find a nut today.

I'm just trying to help a friend, and yes they are available.

Gutenparts price on there website is 99 bucks but when the supplier realized they were wrong the price went up to 135 bucks because he need to buy the correct e9 roundel to rework.
