Rear View Mirror Restoration

Has anyone done a rear view mirror restoration? I managed to split the dense rubbery plastic around the mirror and once I get a replacement mirror made I think I can place it back, epoxy glue it, and paint it with SEM! Said that I was wondering if anyone has a better solution or knows of a member, or vendor that does this as a service.

If your talking about the exterior mirror any glass shop will repair it. I just had a mirror replaced on one for $20.

Love to know. I have a nice one but the tension on the roller ball arm is gone. Basically needs mirror viagra.
