A found this book very helpful:
Weber Carburetors by Pat Braden.
It will set you on the right path with theory, pics and exploded diagrams for all the Webers: DGAVs, DCOEs, IDAs and more.
Additionally, find a Weber expert/guru in your area (start calling the older BMW, Jag/Aston, Ferrari shops to see who they recommend. Datsun guys can be helpful, early Z cars are big sixes too) and make a Dyno tuning session. From there you will 'set it and forget it'...or learn more about your motor
The Expert/Guru will help fine tune it and the rolling road.
Good luck!
