Hey guys, had a set of my (very battered) rear lights chromed by a company near me. From what I gather with the zinc die casting they're a difficult bugger to do and not many chrome shops want to touch them.
Not a concours finish (some slight defects in the chrome as per last photo) but great quality for a driver or as a spare set. More importantly the lenses fit back in quite nicely and don't need to much trimming.
I've got another 4 or 5 sets and it's got me thinking if anyone on here would be interested in a set? With or without lenses (I've only got a few pairs left to make good sets) or even on an exchange basis for usable cores. For anyone scared to take out their old lenses I could also cut them out if needs be. Lenses in photo aren't bonded in as can be seen but just some photos to get a general idea on the quality. Cost wise probably looking at around the 5-600 mark for a set of bare frames.
