Does anyone in the New England region have any suggestions/endorsements or simply knowledge of qualified vintage BMW shops in eastern MA?
Not looking for a high-end resto shop like Paul Russell or KTR, but somebody that has experience in performing a 3.0 to 3.5 liter upgrade and who also knows the electric gremlins.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Vintage Sports & Racing

I live in Boston, but when I contacted several people in the BMW CS Registry and the local BMW CCA Boston chapter, I was given multiple positive references on Mario Langsten of Vintage Sports & Racing ( www.VSR1.com )

VSR is ~1hour north of Boston near Concord NH, and I recently had my 1974 BMW 3.0 CS restored with Mario and his team, extremely happy.

I have no affiliation, I am just a very happy customer who will continue to do work and projects with VSR/Mario.

best regards

Ditto on Duane's Mario/VSR recommendation

I have been taking my Coupe and 5 series to him for nearly 10 years now.

thanks guys.

It's always good to hear unilateral support for a business!
I'll definately pay him a visit.
