"Refreshing" headlamp grills

I scrubbed with dish soap on our 2002 grilles and then shot SEM Trim Black, they look very nice.

If the surfaces are in good condition but just faded then cleaning them and repainting is a simple and inexpensive way to make them look like new. A similar product to the SEM paint is Dupli-color Trim and Bumper paint. It's available in many auto parts stores. You will have to mask the polished trim or remove before painting.

I have used the SEM vinyle or bumper paint with and without the SEM “Vinyle prep “and the difference is very noticable !

Griots trim restorer. You need a couple coatings over a week or so. Then 303.

Matt black Krylon Camo paint. Looks very good and easy to apply. After 7 hours the finish is chip proof. If the army use it on guns and stuff, it must be rugged against insects.

I used 303 Protectant after a good cleaning.
Mine were in good shape to begin with.
