Regrinding camshafts

25+ years ago, this was the way to go, for under 200 bucks most builders would readily source a fresh/enhanced camshaft when doing a valve job on the head. Is this practice still common? I am sure prices are "up"...but what would be the going rate for a re-ground bumpstick? And....what might be the going rate for doing, say...5 or 10 (or 20...) ?

I used Iskenderian for regrind a cam for my big bore/stroker 2002 engine and was totally pleased with the results. That was about 10 years ago and the cost was about $95, if my memory serves me correctly. I got the shorter duration cam, which was about a 280 degree
cam and I think they also could do a 300 degree regrind for the same cost. Good luck, Leroy

Thank-you for your siphon post (?!) but I am looking for a regrinding service not to buy a new camshaft

Schneider cams in San diego. 2 years ago i paid them $125 for a 284 regrind. I also believe they do Frank Fhaeys work, but not 100% sure. There and back 10 days. Jerry is the guy to talk with and knows what he is doing.
