I once knew a guy with a '68 2002 racer powered by a factory two cam four valve F2 engine, quite a beast. Schnitzer built them too, for DTM.

@CSL177 - I believe @lafngrvy has one of the 02's with an F2 engine if I'm not mistaken.

all of this was the basis of the s14 ... a guy i know in the DFW area has a Schnitzer group 5 racer, i saw it when i was looking at his CSL. i remember seeing the F1 cars in 1984 in Dallas. those were cool engines.

I do. It is one of the 3 GS Tuning Team cars that campaigned in the DRM (predecessor to the DTM) series in 1975-76. Its the final evolution of the racing 2002. After these cars everyone switched to the 320's. It's a great car, very highly developed and a lot of fun to drive. The Porsche guys hate it. ;->
