Repairing the ashtray

The front fell off the driver side ashtray. Any clever method of re-attaching it? Obviously I have to clean it up a lot before I can do anything. I don't think welding is an option (too hot), maybe epoxy? The upper edge is held by a crimp of sorts, the lower edge is loose.

JB weld it is. Will pick some up on the way home tonight. It's basically epoxy with metal filler anyway, right?
