Dear Coupistas,
A number of you have kindly expressed interest in various parts from our regular production line.
To better serve both our clients and ourselves, we have made a small change to the way we handle future production runs.
If you are interested in any items, please reply publicly to this mail with a concise list of the parts you would like.
I shall reply via PM, as I do not expect to have all reply at once.
Please let us set an order deadline for end of July, then the orders will close.
Prices will be posted publicly at a later date, depending on the items required, and parts available from our production line.
Most likely next week, when I have the time, as this is not my line of business ...
Once I have received everyone's requests, I will reply with details of our deposit system. Going forward, we will manufacture only those items that have been pre-reserved,
with a deposit of 50%, and possibly, together with a very small number of extras, if any.
Travelling internationally with assorted "automotive gadgetry" has, on occasion, prompted rather inquisitive looks, and equally inquisitive questions,
from U.S. Customs officials. I'd just as soon avoid those entertaining conversations in the future. Particularly with oversize items, aka: airdams.
Our next production run is expected to be ready around October, although an exact date is not yet known, so there is plenty of time to consider your requirements.
In the past, we tended to overproduce. Although everything eventually sold, it represented a considerable investment of both time and expense. The new system will allow us to keep production manageable while ensuring that everyone who reserves parts receives exactly what they need.
I hope this arrangement will be acceptable. Once I have everyone's requests (+/-), I will circulate the details of the deposit process.
If anyone is interested in sooner, rather than later delivery, direct shipping from El Salvador is 100% possible, albeit prices will be rather higher.
Small items can usually be sent via friends that often travel to the US, and shipped from Miami, generally speaking.
As always, thank you for your continued support
With my sincere appreciation,
Alberto
