Now that all the exterior aluminum trim has been removed, deanodized and polished to a bright chrome looking finish, I have a concern. Anyone that has the original trim should be able to answer this: I know the drip cap, front and rear window trims are the bright chrome finish, but is the belly band the same? I seem to recall that it was a duller finish (satin) like the kidney grill. Is this right?

I assume by "belly band" you mean the 7 pieces around the middle of the car. They are bright and shiny when new.
The only 'trim' pieces that I can think of with a satin finish were the stainless wiper arms and blades when they were used.
