Retain or delete electric mirror on '74 CSA?

I'm planning the usual upgrades for my '74 CSA: bumpers, 5-speed, wheels, suspension and I'm thinking of deleting the electric mirror. IMO, the control is a bit wonky and not well integrated with the interior. That said, I happily admit I'm new to the E9 world so thought it best to ask if this sort of mod is any sort of bad thing or if it's more a question of preference.
Apologies for the horrid door panel. Hey, I got it that way and the pic is as I'm replacing it.

Totally up to you, they were an option in 1974 only on the Hoffman imports from 4310329 and 4335392

I plan on retrofitting a pair of them to my car because I think they're cool.

If you don't have a Passenger's matching PM, then I would probably ditch the PM so you can have matching Driver's/Passenger's flag (or traps) mirrors.

I believe in symmetry when possible (ya, that single exhaust cutout is bothersome).
