Retro fit aircon.

Anybody done it?
I have a system from and old e9 I broke many moons ago. All the connections were sealed when I dismantled it. It looks like I will need new drier and pipes and as they are hard and perished but the rest looks relativly easy.
The only trouble I can see it that the space on an injection car is a bit tight for the drier. Also the interior console was off an auto car where as mine is a manual.

It should be straight forward. The bluebooks ( repair manuals) I have do show how to retro a system. But the registry online , information, repair manual doesn't.
