I would like to understand what this revolution switch does. Anyone know the details of how it works? I see it has power and tach input and then a solenoid output. Does this simply trigger at a specific RPM? I tried to trace the green/violet stripe wire to find the solenoid but I have no idea where it goes or if I even have this solenoid. Anyone have a picture of a 2800cs with this connected and where the solenoid is located?

Looks like the Speed Relay under the coil. It controls the vacuum dashpot on the firewall that moves the diaphragm mounted near cylinder 5 or 6 on the head that slows return of the accelerator on deceleration to lower emissions.

Thank you. Found the wires but nothing attached.
