Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone has had experience in sourcing headers/extractors for the M30 Motor in a Right Hand Drive E9?

All the Korman and other parts are US and dont take into account the position of the steering box on the right hand drive...

Any Ideas?

thanks

Hi Chris,

Do let us know what options you discover on this as I'll be in the market for some exhaust manifolds myself at some point when my bank balance recovers from settling the final bill for my car's restoration!!!

Thanks,
Dave.

Dave,

seems like fritzs bits in th U.K. has an option that seems to be the only one for right hand drives I have seen so far....

Have a chat with Bill and Danny at Ajay. They regularly fit them for their customers cars in Melbourne. They put a full stainless exhaust on my car when they did the 3.5l swap. Ceramic coating on the headers.

RHD Extractors

Hi Chris

Try to get a photo of the extractors installed taking note of where the pipes run close to the brake master cylinder. I had a set made but didn,t leave them on as the front collector pipe ended up almost touching the brake cylinder which I thought would lead to cooking the brake fluid. There wasn't even space for a heat shield. The Fritz system appears to run the front collector via the front of the steering box which could foul an A.C. Compressor?
The Fritz system does look as though it wouldn't be a problem but I would like to see as I would consider a set too.
