Round can relay

normally, unobtanium. check with a newly parted car. i haven't seen any on ebay in quite a while.

if you have one that doesn't work, you can surgically remove the guts and hide a new style inside.

+1
i did it in one of mines
it works very well and aesthetics are correct
just do not forget to add something to glue or fix the "cap" to the new relay

Great suggestions guys, thanks. I still would need to get my hands a round can relay... This is for the foglights, which were added by a PO many years ago and have a modern relay.

Luis,

I have an extra round relay. It needs a little clean up (probably re-plating). $20 plus shipping.

I'm counting on that Ron! Thanks for everyone's help.
As an aside, the other two relays on my 73 Euro CS are painted black on the round top. Are others' this way? It looks original to me.

All of the round relays that I have seen are plated - like the photo in post #7. Perhaps some other style was available back in the 70's and your car happens to have them. But all silver is the norm.

all sorts of shapes with and without brackets and black tops.

Hey there Murray-
I posted the pic so some other board members could see what is available at Double o2 in Hayward. They have boxes and boxes full of vintage relays
