Hi all,

Do you have a source for new foam/rubber for tool tray where the tools sit? Basically, the moulded piece where the tools actually sit? Since I am trying to restore the tool tray I would like to replace this piece if it is available for purchase.

Thanks.

Yohan,
There's a chance I have a spare in reasonable shape. Probably not perfect, but not completely deteriorating. If interested, I'll try to find it.

Stephen--thank you. I am definitely interested. Please let me know if you can locate it. Thank you.

I am sitting with red wine in hand wondering, “how can foam be shaped at home?”
Here is an idea, foam soaked with water and frozen, then machined with a router. Is that possible?
More wine now, so ideas may get worse.
I’ve been to take a look and the foam is approaching a rubber, so it might be difficult to find some to start the experiment, also tough to get it take on enough water to freeze properly.
Any better suggestions?

Did you ever find the foam tray you need?

Yes, I did find a good used one through a forum member. Thanks for checking in and for your help.
