Rubber Seal Placement?

Yes so what I did was trim each bottom side that fits into the slot and left the top exposed side longer for an overlap. You may need to also trim a little on top to clear the fender curve. I have since removed these because I don't drive in the rain so I prefer to get some air down that cavity and not trap any moisture. If I were to go on a road trip, I'd put them in.

rubber placement

I also bought the two small rubber pieces shown and could not find where they went. The part that I thought I was getting is 51711810530 which is NLA. CoupeKing has a non OEM replacement if wanted.
I bought the NOS part # 51711810531 but getting it installed has
not been easy. Any suggestions?

What you want is 2 of # 51711810529. Still listed as available at Penske, I got mine from Germany a while ago.

that is a good point, I may shape them into the right shape first and only put them in for long drives too.
