Hard to say.

May have been salvaged when these cars weren't worth that much (early 80s to mid 90s). So could have been in only a minor accident

May be a decent restoration project for someone & should be priced as that. It has obviously been sitting for a very long time & will need everything sorted, except possibly exterior paint. The "no rust at all" claim is wishful thinking by the current owner. Are you assisting the current owner to sell it or are your trying to buy it?

Car seems to have AC which is nice.
Airfilter is incorrect, but easy to correct.

'No rust' was likely true at some point, although knowledgable people say they rusted wile already inside the factory. I'd almost never believe a claim from a seller, unless it is a trusted forum member here. Go and inspect by yourself is my advice.

regarding price? That's personal & depending on a lot of details that are hard to see from 5 pictures.
Rust for instance, if present and if in need to replace rockers will set you back 10.000 USD for metal+work if you outsource; 2500 USD in metal parts +5 to 7.5K USD to pay someone to weld them in.
How are the chrome parts? rear lights? engine running nicely? does it require a repaint? gearbox?
Likely all rubbers in the suspension need replacing.

If truly no rust, then 30K would be a number I would think is fair. If there is rust you basically have a bunch of parts as a starting point.

The salvage history is just factored into the value like everything else. You have to determine what the value of the car is based on it's physical condition, like any coupe, then let the buyer determine how much the salvage history affects the price. Some buyers won't mind that it's salvaged. Others won't even look at the car.

The interior has a lot of good stuff - Nardi, Recaros, good center console (from what I can see), nice dash ...

I think those seats are Koenigs.

And I think al taylor did a four barrel on the e3 he raced, so it was possible.

Bids got up to $20k last time I looked.

Looks like owner got a side deal going probably.

Hello, I was trying to buy for 38K but when he said it is salvage title I backed up since I don't want to invest 80 to 100K in salvage car

Hello, this is very nice seats look like it made it for E9 and must be very comfortable when you drive
They are aftermarket, but period correct. They are much more comfortable than the stock seats and make long drives much easier on an aging back.

Check with your registry. Some states after a certain amount of years the Salvage Title is not transfered when retitled.
