Salvage title project on eBay (NMNA)

Looks like there was already a good bit of Bondo on that LF fender before this latest fender bender. The car has at one time been restored and it looks like there's not any visible rust. If that's the case the price looks pretty fair given the front seats are from something newer and the dash and rest of the interior isn't pristine. If it was a slick top I'd be very interested in it since it looks like a solid car that needs some TLC.

I remember this one.
Those seats are out of e36 ///M3, “Vader” seats they call them. Very comfortable but heavy and a bit out of place in a coupe. Good thing is Vaders are really selling well right now so they could be flipped easily and find a set of correct or period correct seats.
I am intrigued… may have to go see this one in person.

In my mind a salvage title means a 50% devaluation and a major PITA.

The only one I was interested in was the Copart Csl which I would have shipped over here to drive in Europe. That auction appears to have been an inside job- sad.

A lot left on the table at that auction..

Sort of got messed up in that thread. I meant that the auction that Copart did in one day that seemed to be a low price and the other auction that I posted the picture above- that seem to be full priced makes sense now I hope.

I had three buyers ready at that price on the one at Copart, but they obviously made it so hard to do business with them that I just walked away.
