hello dear all
just want to warn you for this person,,,,,
paid money to collect a steering box,afther several mails,and pictures from the package that he shipped,and several excuses that usps could not deliver .....and he would refund we are 3 months further and no more answer or contact from his side....
be aware!!!!!!

I will plan a visit to Alhambra, he is a RE Agent and running for City Council. We have some contact info, not a member here, had an M6 and used to be on e28 forum. Stay tuned.

I just came across this. I am a busy person and do not spend much time on forums.

There are two sides to every story. I am far from being a "scammer". Don't need to be. Johnny here is not giving all the details.

I am known by many older and well known members of the BMW community and own 3 collector BMWs for many years. I have a ton of rare parts as well. It is a hobby NOT a business for me.

I will post my side and proof of the story soon with pictures of the mailing receipts etc.

For now, the CSL box sold to John, WAS shipped to the Netherlands back in April 2018, after a delay in shipping by me due to a pair of broken legs. After many months and attempts, the buyer never claimed the package. It showed up back on my door as "unclaimed" in the middle of July.

We agreed to return John's money and move on. In late July I emailed John asking if he was ok having me refund the original amount received less $91.00 shipping, he did not respond. The money sent by him has been sitting in PayPal. Fast forward approximately 30 days to this.

As for HB Chris (who I have respected for his knowledge of coupes and all of his giving to the BMW vintage community) and another member "contacting" me "to NO avail", it is simply NOT true. Chris Macha and Mike Burger contacted me twice and both times I responded immediately both my email and by phone with Mike Burger. Hopefully Mike can attest to this.

A few days ago , after I sent HB Chris proof of my past emails to him, he admitted to having trouble receiving emails from yahoo.

It is easy to get behind a keyboard and blast away incorrect and damaging information about someone without knowing all the facts.

I will post proof of all of this soon.

I was looking at attending but $30 seems like a lot for basically parking my car somewhere.

No Johnny! Not quite. I sent you a tracking number, pictures of the USPS tracking label, and pictures of the packaged item. I shipped through USPS. I don't make the excuses for delivery !!!!

You failed to pick the item up for whatever reason after numerous attempts of delivery. Now you tell me that you had the item shipped to "a friend's shop". The item was ultimately returned back to me as undeliverable after 2.5 months.

USPS TRACKING : Cx245298942US

Wouldn't a scammer be someone who got paid for an item and never shipped ?!!!! Not the case here.

You've had contact info from me since you and Mike reached out back in April, I spoke to Mike (OC Coupe) by telephone within hours of him contacting me and responded to your email immediately.

The above info your investigative skills found is ALL correct.

Yes, I still have an M6, and also 72 2002, 73 2002tii, 95 540i, '14 750li, among other cars.

Good to hear another side of the story, also goes to show that non involved parties shouldn't form opinions without all facts being present!

Hope OP and vendor have resolved this issue.
