Scheel Material

Good morning Simon

Jaymic sell it. I bought a small sample recently and it is almost identical in texture to the original.
However I believe that the 'stripes' between the surface ribs of the material seem marginally closer together than the original. Over 10 centimetres there are 19 ribs on the new material as against just under 17 on the original.

It is possible that the original material has stretched in use, although the material does not appear to be so 'stretchy'. I don't think a man on a galloping horse would spot the difference.
Perhaps others with more experience of trimming could chime in?

Jaymic might also know whether the material is from the original source and is unchanged.

Cheers, Simon.

Hi Simon,

I've got two large pieces of Jaymic Scheel cloth, I bought it to recover some copy seats but then managed to buy the real thing, will sell for less then the Jaymic price. PM me if your interested.

John.

When I said I bought the real thing I meant the real Scheel Seats, not the cloth.
Cheers, John.
