screw size for a/c grilles

guys, quick question that hopefully somebody knows ... i am in the process of ordering a bunch of stuff from belmetric and i don't know the size of the screws that hold the a/c grilles on the sides of the console. anybody know the proper size and the head type. i presume they are countersunk heads and the finish is black if i remember correctly

According to the old orange parts book, part # 07 11 9 902 475 is listed as: BL SHR B 4.2X32 screws (oval head). Rather difficult to decipher what these old letters stand for. i believe those are the screws for the console sides, not the side grilles ... i don't believe the side grilles have a screw that is over an inch long

I measured mine, not sure if diameter is inside or outside of thread. If outside it’s 2.9x13.5 which I think is correct.

I haven't measured the screws I used, but these look identical to the ones I have.

that sounds about right ... i knew they weren't as big as the screws that held up the console sides. MANY thanks guys ... i will order some up.
