I have a pair of Recarro manual sport seat bases from an early E24/E12. Question is, are they usable in an E9??

Bert, i don't think they will fit on an e9 without some changes to the body ... it would significantly raise the height of the seat ... which would prevent tall people like HBChris, Stevehose and myself from sitting in the seat. this type of frame is made to bolt to the floor.
Understood. It was kind of a shot in the dark. I guess they are destined to the store room.
