Have the original klingin sp? Seat belts in my coupe....dumb question...the part sticking out from the rear....between the seat and armrest or between armrest and side panel? Many thanks!

Yep!
I have found that after a long time, though, the extra friction of this arrangement makes them retract poorly.

mine don't retract at all they are the original belts that hook on a hook in the center tunnel....serious old school....but I never wear them anyway, so just for originality.....please don't tell the German police, they are nuts.
