Anyone have suggestions to keep your seat protected? I am looking for inexpensive cover easy to remove to protect from sun and everyday driving. Would like them to be easily removable to go to shows and cars and coffee.

the old way was to use sheepskin covers. kinda hot in the summer down south. i would think that a fabric cover would do it ... its just finding one that would fit well over our seats.
most automotive leathers are made from leather that is dyed to avoid damage by U/V light ... so the color + finish of those leathers hold up reasonably well - as long as you nourish them. the sun dries up the oil in leather, but you can use a good leather product and help extend its lifespan. this is probably a better strategy than covering it ... clean it well and put a good product on it and do it again each year. if you look at vintage cars and you find stiff leather - its sun dried. leatherique used to sell a very good product for bringing stiff leather back to life and softening it.

Funny you bring this up. I just bought an NOS set of blue sheep skins on FB yesterday. I've always been I fan, though some are not. Hey, I'm old enough to remember the 80s. I'm installing them to protect the original leather. I'll treat the seats with leather conditioner before I install.
