so i finally obtained a set of seats from a very nice member here
set-72157624191067124

I was wondering what i should use to recover these two.:?:
I have a white car right now, which was originally ceylon gold.
The interior I believe was originally tan cloth with black door cards. ??
Here is what I plan on doing... getting my car to nice driver status and complete. I will enjoy it on nice days....
Do all the mechanical bits... along with a few cosmetic pieces..
and then a full out restoration in a few years.

Should I recover these in black leather with the right pleats etc?
Or
go with the tan cloth in a close replica of what it had originally?
or
ideas?

I have been putting it back together. I have found all the emblems, seats, and a domelight the car is missing with the help of a lot of you.:-D
I need the following..

1. rear bumper and mounting hardware
2. all beltline trim+fasteners
3. side grilles in black
4. passenger side hood vent in black

and then im done finding parts..
for now.
thoughts appreciated.

Id try to recover the seats based on your final vision for the car. "Temporary" never seems to work out that way...

+1 Seats are very important in my opinion. Do what you think you'll want long-term.

long term i would say the black leather with the correct pleats would be a good choice?
BUT the original interior WAS tan cloth, is there a definitive way to determine this?
white/black for now white/ tan=ok
ceylon/ tan cloth later would be beautiful in the future!!

Im torn. Just like the seats.

BTW there is a darker backing to the seats, like a chestnut brownish?
