Gents, I just purchased this E9 coupe. Photos found below. It's a little rough, which is a HUGE understatement. I'm looking for a qualified upholstery shop in So Cal to re-do the seats. The OC, San Diego or LA is just fine. Not looking for a top-of-the-line upholstery job. That is, I don't want to spend $5K on seats. However, I do want something that looks good (same navy blue color) and fits the original, stock, unmodified spirit of the coupe. $2K to $3K would be awesome. Got any referrals on a competent upholstery company? Thanks for your help...

Nice pictures, looks like a very repairable coupe, I think the condition is great considering it's 40+ years old. As I am currently trying to put together some valuations on these beasts I think yours is a perfect example to use as a coupe in good condition-in need of an "owner referb". would you mind posting the cost of the car? I don't mean to be rude, just trying to provide some sound basis for my write up.

Congratulations by the way, I have a feeling this is not your first e9 experience.

From a another SoCa E9 owner...

There was a previous thread in the forum about this shop's work on an E9 interior. You might seek out the owner and have a look at the work they did. At this price, I'd take a chance on them for a driver quality restoration.
