The Recaro (I think) seats are well worth saving too. But the dogleg tranny is supposedly not as robust the overdrive. And I think that Sfdon had advised seaking an overdrive with less than 175k iirc. An m90 may not be as long lived as an m30 either (not sure where I heard that).

Oh this is tempting... but a non-running car with 200k is a bit of a worry... and add to that "needs a radiator" = overheated when last ran????
@twistinglane ... what are the concerns with the M90 being not as long lived? You mean to say they are a weaker motor?
What I had heard is that due to the over square design the m90 internals, presumably the pistons/cylinders, wear a bit more quickly. But please don't take this as authoritative info...
