how do the e9's do with 16x7 wheels in the front?

All 16” wheels need to have front fenders rolled. These are not Alpinas so they are priced reasonably.

They are just fine with the correct ET11 offset. And this set is correct and the tires can be rotated. The front fenders should be rolled under, especially if the suspension is lowered. Otherwise, your fender lip can look like the attached photo's.
