I don't think we've posted this one. I'm getting confused by the influx of Polaris inventory!

The car in the wrong link is pretty cool though.

Haha how did that get in there. I may have had my eye on that one. ;) That would make a great donor car. I wouldn't feel bad since 633's are a dime a dozen. Notice that it has Scheel Seats also. It probably puts out about 250hp.

Wrong link car...

Wouldn't it mean the car didn't change hands much early in it's life.

IIRC the 7 character plates (both regular series and personalized plates) became available in the early 1980's and the blue background with yellow letter format was phased out at the end of 1986 or early 1987. Whether those particular personalized plates have only been assigned to that car or swapped from another car at some point by the P.O. can only be confirmed by solid documentation such as annual registration cards. In any event, if that car has always been a California registered car, it would have had different plates on it when it was new as those plates would not have been possible in 1973.

That, but I was referring to what lic. plate said and I think Jeff nailed it on the head. I did not know that SF had a Patron Saint;Assisi - Patron Saint of SF. Learn something knew everyday. $30K huh? Interesting.....

$30k...that's ok if you drive it as it is.

But to restore it w/new paint and interior...that is a large starting price.

I guess solid E9s are at a premium.

I inspected that car- great bones no rust example.
Drive it while you enjoy the process of restoring it.
Reminded me of Stevehose's car- awesome patina great originality.
And tens of thousands less than Steve would ever sell for!
