Did you modify your shoulder belts to the 74 style with rear retractors? Your carpets look more like a velour than the original German loop to me however. Unless of course you do have a 74 in which case the seats are pre-74 style.

To be honest I really don't know, that's how I bought the car, i didn't make any changes but the car is definitely a '73 build. Maybe my car is not as original as I thought...

MThompson, coral red it is.

The rear seats are from an e24 and they were a darker red, recolored (leatherique) with the coral red dye.

Koenig seats, seats and door cards dyed in a Mercedes Benz 1930s leather color called "cognac", contrasting ash tray leather, Schroth rally harnesses, a gauge plate I made by hand with a center console modified to delete the radio and accommodate the gauge plate:
