I decided at the last minute to head off to Sharkfest to check out the shark people, tour the BMW plant and to attempt to stand a new M3 on its nose.

Unfortunately, this has created a huge problem for me. During the course of events, I had an opportunity to gawk at Coupelady's e9 and to chat with her charming owner Amy and Amy's husband Wayne. Amy restored the e9 and it is drop dead georgous. And when she fires up the m30b35, the sound is mellifluous.

So, once again, I find myself lusting after an e9!

I think a good doctor can treat your mellifluousness.

Not true! I saw Amy's coupe in a magazine about 20 years ago, went to visit her since she lived about 40 miles from me, and I have not found a cure yet! And that is after about 10 coupes: 5 at one time, but down to only one now and no cure in sight. {:>)

Here are a few pics from The Vintage 2012. I was too busy talking to her to get detailed pics.

Yes, Amy's car is really and I mean really nice.
She takes all the tools out of the tool box and wraps them in towels to transport.
She claims the weight of the tools is what breaks the tool box.

She won First in class at Sharkfest but my friend George Whitley got the people's choice award with his coupe and was only one point behind Amy.
