I ended up buying a bar from forum member Orangener (in Austria) who did a limited run of bars last year. It is beautiful. Probably no better functionally but more in line with the look I am after for my Coupe. Not sure if he will do another run of bars but everyone who got one was pretty happy with the product and dealings with this quality conscious forum member.
The bar came with chocolates!! Thanks Andi!

I saw this car on Bring a Trailer today and thought this would be the cure-all for the CS bracing issues.
