Show us your crankcase breather or catch can

I am fiddling with a set of Weber DCOE's that I am rebuilding and hoping to use if I can find the few missing parts that I need. I am interested in what others have done for the valve cover breather. I have seen a length of hose with a filter on the end.

I recall @Drew Gregg had a catch can set up with a nice 90 degree elbow to gracefully connect the valve cover to the catch can. Those of you with Weber side draft carbs, what are you using and please include the part manufacturer or a link to the parts.

Thanks Chris, I did pick up a cheap filter like this for now. I have heard that these either plug up or make a mess, but my engine is fairly fresh and this will allow me to get started on the tuning process while I search for a clean alternative.

I recall seem to recall a Stevehose post where he said that he was running a tube down the side of the engine like an old road draft tube, but not sure if he stuck with that approach or went to a catch can.

@boonies Here is a picture of my catch can. Has a dipstick and drain valve that drops down behind chin spoiler for easy draining. Running Flexfuel at 40% so combination of oil and water accumulates.

@Ives I like the routing of the lines and the placement of the catch can. I have a distributor in the way, but that is nice.

Old school, no catch can just a breather tube turning down the engine block.

If your battery has been relocated..... simple drainable can from Summit
Someday I'll make a better bracket

Here is mine, with the battery mounted under the rear seat I think it’s a nice use of space.
