I'm guessing that alot of those design-house guys smoked cigs, drank wine, and drew on napkins together....many similarities from Frua to Michellotti, to Bertone, Pininfarina, et.al. Might make an interesting movie...throw in some ladies, maybe a murder or two...I can smell the pasta, the clay and fresh plywood bucks from my laptop.

So a maserati is Clearly off topic, off topic is not a worse folder, simply to be organized ,

It cannot be off topic because it was designed by Michelotti who also designed BMWs including NK.
It seems to have the Hoffmeister kink so it is more BMW than an Isetta...
And the dashboard and switches are amazing.
 
I've posted stuff in "Off Topic" before not knowing it needed to be E9 related in any way. But something to do with cars, motorcycles, whatever. "Off topic" to me was anything NON-E9 related...seemed to fit and never had any backlash topic wise. Maybe an "Off-Topic-Off-Topic" thread needs to be created...I'm kidding but I never thought twice as long as it didn't fit any of the other obvious threads.

Put me in the 1% group then. If we don't keep non-E9 related topics out of the E9 General Discussion forum it becomes a cluster. When I moved the thread to Off Topic I should've deleted Jesus' "off topic?" reply for clarity.
