Makes sense, never on a US e3, especially since the wrenches are 2002 style. And must be a late production 2800.

Just took these pics. The one on the left side may be for E21, the one one the right side is for E3. Although there are almost no differences but the inner part at the bottom.
Parts catalogue says the E3 small version is for 2500+2800 only. pn 71111111433
