Small vinyl tear

My dash and dash vinyl is in very nice condition except for a small ( 1/4”) age related tear in the vinyl mid-dash on the top of the bolstered area above the ventilation controls. Is there any recommended way to dab something clear to prevent it from getting longer over time or just leave it be ?

There are people who go mobile repairing vinyl, leather and even cloth seats for a minimal fee,maybe $40 to $50.
Should be able to find one on line asking for vinyl repair service. When I was selling autos I would have all my interior repairs done by a repair service which came once a week.
Great Work for the money.
