It turns out the black Petri is for sale afterall.
For those who missed my posts, it's an original black 400 mm Petri.
There was some corrosion, but I took care of it.
The spokes are finished in black satin, they look perfect now, like original.
Since I haven't any E9 Petri hubs available at the moment, I made one.
Hub cover: also "home made", it's an adjusted Petri cover.
Horn button: original Petri and NOS.
Horn button ring: new ( repro ).
Foam: sits firm and is in good condition.
Bolts: will be replaced by inox phillips ones. I just ordered those.
This is an early Petri, it doesn't have the stamps.
But it's 100% genuine, since no one ever tried to reproduce these wheels.
If you don't like the black button, I can replace the center by a BMW emblem.
In my opnion, the black button looks awesome.
