Hi,

Selling used rear lights from BMW E3.

Three complete pieces:
- lenses
- rubber seal
- bulb socket
- chrome bracket (one has a crack as pictured)

$138 for all with F&F option of PayPal.

Other methods/options also possible.

I'm pretty sure there are people having taillights but I can arrange some for you if you like.

Your help would be greatly appreciated. If you can find the chrome frames with their gaskets, that would be a huge help too. I only have one set of rear lenses.

Should it be pre-facelift or facelift. I was selling pre-facelift so I believe that's the set you are looking for, right?

Hi Kris,

Could you do a photo tutorial for th E3 owners? Perhaps a new thread showing pre-facelift and facelift and pointing out the differences. As you know, I own a '72 and interested in all the changes made to our cars over the years. They interchangeable?

Post facelift

Note: The painted panel between the tail lights appears to only be used for the first 6 months or so for the post facelift cars. After that, the panel was brushed aluminum like the pre facelift cars.

They are not interchangeable since the cutouts for the tail lights in the trunk inner rear panel are different sizes. (I guess you MAY be able to put the later tail lights and outer panel on an early car?)
 
when i was younger, i preferred the post facelift cars (taillights and C pillar vent). now i MUCH prefer the pre-facelift cars
 
I too much perfer the pre-facelift look. I have added a couple of pre-facelift bits and some upgrades from the basic Bavaria to my '72. An on-going project almost finished.
