Near perfect (9/10) repair manuals in English is being offered here. This set covers all the carbureted to fuel injection cars (2800 CS/3.0 CS/CSI from 1968 to 1975. They also include the 1976 updated addendums, basically covering the 76 E3 3.0 Li Bosch L-jet fuel injection system. The earlier binder sets do not have these updated info. These manuals cover the coupes mostly, but they do refer to the E3 sedans here and there.
As stated, both binders (volume 1 and 2) and their interior pages are spotless. One flaw is a single nick on the blue vinyl in the back of binder 1. The blue vinyl is slightly darker on volume 1 than volume 2. No yellowing of any of the pages is present at all. The manuals are also free of the ‘old paper’ smell that is sometimes present in old books and publications. There are no greasy smudges or markings of any kind. The metal binder mechanisms are also spotless, free of any rust. These blue manuals are hard to find in this pristine condition and rarely become available, unliked the fair-good condition sets that are on some auction sites. I much rather refer to hard copy manuals than using the digital versions, especially now that BMW have removed their online materials, although they can be found on the tech section on this e9coupe site. Also I find navigating the actual manuals are much easier than looking at the contents on a computer or a tablet device.
These manuals contain the electrical vehicle and engine wiring diagrams. There is a whole section that covers all the models and years. The diagrams become invaluable when tracing and repairing electrical faults and problems.
