Hello, it's me again :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I bought a few steering wheels and one of them I have no use for.
It's in stunning condition, crack free and the leather is perfect.
Attached is one photo but I will post more later. I will clean it first.
No clue what to ask, because I can't compare it to wheels in similar condition.
Open for offers and/or advice. What do you think? One million dollars?

Wow... 42cm. That’s the same as my 2000CS wheel.

I will assert that all of the e9 wheels including the “CSI Sport Wheel” (as I like to call it) are 42cm. Unless you bought a CSL or purchased a factory 40cm Petri, you got a 42cm wheel. I’m sure I’m missing something so maybe we can turn this into a deep dive and drive more viewers to Hans’s listing. :D

GLWS Hans!

42 is biiiiiiiig for a E9 , unless you love to drive a truck. 40 is better , 38 is perfect :p:D

That looks like a stock usa cs bus wheel, is it really leather, or foam?

Now I start to doubt ... I thought these steering wheels were covered with leather. I'm I wrong?
Please tell me because I'm not very familiar with this model :)

The covering certainly looks like stitched leather to me. Having driven a '73 e9 with the wooden rim equivalent of this for about 5 years back in the '70's, I really liked that wheel (have one I bought that needs light restoration, may get that done some time soon and replace the Nardi that's on my car to see if I still like it!).

I was lucky enough to buy a bunch of parts for my E3 a few years back for a song. I got the identical wheel in the deal, brown leather however.

Photos of my original 72 bus wheel. It's definitely foam, the faux stitching is done very well so it took close inspection to verify. Not trying to question your wheel - just throwing it out there for clarification, perhaps others are leather, but this one is not, similar to the foam Petris we all know and love (these stock bus wheels are also made by Petri).
